What You Will Do

Serving as a liaison to direct technical staff on project teams.

Managing project deliverables with document production staff.

Monitoring project scopes, schedules, and budgets.

Organizing and facilitating meetings (such as preparing agendas, developing and presenting meeting content, and preparing summaries).

Communicating with clients, stakeholders, and agency staff.
-
Provide feedback, authoring and reviewing analytical sections of environmental documents.
What You Must Have
-
Bachelor's degree in environmental policy, environmental planning, environmental science, or related field.
-
8+ years of experience, preferably in environmental consulting, environmental law, or working for a federal/state environmental agency
-
5+ years of experience working with and managing complex documents related to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Clean Water Act (CWA), and/or the Endangered Species Act (ESA)

Experience with project management and task leadership
What We’d Like You To Have

Experience with water resources, flood management, transportation, development, or other infrastructure development in California.

Desire to understand highly technical aspects of transportation projects including permitting, resource effects, and agency requirements

Demonstrable technical writing experience

Experience overseeing development of technical and/or environmental compliance reports

Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with clients and agency staff

Ability to work effectively as part of a team
