The Graduate Program of Environmental Policy and Management seeks partners to help us train the next generation of environmental leaders. Partnership opportunities range depending on your interests and goals-- host a student intern, partner with us for the annual Policy Clinic, guest speak at a seminar, join our mentorship program or table at our annual job fair.
Environmental Policy Clinic
The Environmental Policy Clinic is an interactive, 20 week class from January-June annually. Small teams of students collaborate with organizations on an environmental policy or management project overseen by UC Davis faculty instructor. The Clinic is free for organizations to participate in and is an excellent opportunity to leverage a group of talented and interdisciplinary students to collaborate on your special project.
Build your future hiring pool, hire a student intern
Students in the Graduate Program of Environmental Policy and Management are required to complete a Practicum Internship for their Comprehensive Exam portfolio. The Practicum offers students an opportunity to build professional experience and apply their coursework to real-world environmental policy and management problems. For organizations, it is an opportunity to leverage the talents interdisciplinary graduate students learning from world-class UC Davis scholars.

Research shows that advising and mentorship play a critical role in student success in higher education. EPM Connect matches students with a professional in the workforce to provide students opportunities to develop professional skills, identify career pathways and widen their professional networks.
Our commitment to environmental justice
The Environmental Justice Apprenticeship Program, funded by the Institute of the Environment, allows EPM to hire a graduate student researcher to partner with a nonprofit organization to work on environmental justice projects during the summer.
