Accelerated 12-Month Track
This program is typically completed in 2 years, though students may complete the accelerated 12-month track. Students who would like to opt-in to the 12-month track must submit the supplemental application below. The program will issue a recommendation to the student based on this application on their suitability for the 12-month track. To receive a positive recommendation, the student should have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA and at least two years of prior professional experience.
Components of the application include:
- Why do you want to do the 12-month track?
- What quantitative coursework have you taken?
- What previous professional experience do you have?
- Have you identified a practicum?
- If you have not identified a practicum, what is your plan to find one?
- A professional writing sample

While this deadline may seem early, it is so students can enroll in the required ENV 290- Policy Clinic Prep Seminar in the Fall quarter.
Process:
Your application will be reviewed by the Program Chair, Executive Director and Program Coordinator. The program will issue you a recommendation on your suitability to complete the 12-month track. Should you choose to continue with this track, you will need to:
- Schedule a meeting with the Graduate Program Coordinator in the Fall quarter to discuss the timeline to degree.
- Enroll in the Policy Clinic Prep Seminar. The CRN will be provided to you by the Program Coordinator.
Late applications:
Late applications will be reviewed and considered on a case-by-case basis and must not be submitted later than the 12th day of Fall instruction.
