Job Description

The Project Coordinator will provide hands-on, day-to-day coordination for a large, diverse statewide coalition focused on wildfire resilience in California.  This role requires an extremely organized, reliable, and highly motivated individual who will be responsible for a wide range of tasks including stakeholder coordination, meeting scheduling/organization, event planning and execution, and project management. This person should have experience coordinating multiple people and organizations to accomplish shared objectives in a fast-moving context. The position requires excellent organizational, communication, and event planning skills; the ability to work in close partnership with diverse groups of people and organizations; and the ability to work cross-functionally in an evolving environment. We are looking for someone able to hit the ground running and ensure the execution of an ambitious, fast-moving, mission-driven statewide policy initiative.  This position will also occasionally provide support to SBC’s project outreach teams during meetings, workshops, and forums to build relationships, deepen understanding of forest health and wildfire resilience, and enhance collaboration, participatory decision making, and consensus building
