Sarah graduated from California State University, Monterey Bay with a B.S. in Marine Science with a minor in mathematics. While at CSUMB, she conducted research on population responses to marine reserve protection worldwide and gained an interest in the research to policy process and how people interact with the environment. In the Environmental Policy and Management program, she specialized in Marine Resource Management with an ultimate goal of working in a California environmental institution to address coastal conservation and climate change issues as well as work to bridge the gap between science, policy, and the public.
Sarah graduated the EPM program in June 2020 and has been named as a 2021 California Sea Grant Fellow working with the Delta Stewardship Council Planning and Performance Division on climate resilience and adaptation.
