Bilegt earned both a BS in Environmental Science and Management and a Master’s in Environmental Policy and Management from UC Davis, completing his studies in September 2019. He began his career with Sacramento County as an Assistant Planner, gaining hands-on experience as a regulator in urban planning and development.
He later joined Gopuff’s Government Affairs team, addressing regulatory challenges in a fast-evolving delivery industry. Currently, Bilegt is a Senior Associate in Regulatory Operations at DoorDash, focusing on land use strategy and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Driven by a passion for the built environment, Bilegt is deeply interested in how it shapes the ways we live, work, and connect with our communities. Throughout his career, he has tackled complex regulatory issues and developed innovative, thoughtful solutions to navigate them.
