Nathan Ling

Nathan Ling graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2023 with a B.A. in Environmental Studies and a concentration in Conservation Science and Policy. During his time at Santa Cruz, Nathan was involved in wildlife research regarding mountain lions and bobcats within the local mountain ecosystem. After graduating, he worked as a research fellow for the San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance studying and mapping invasive vegetation using aerial imagery to better inform management decisions. Nathan plans to continue to investigate and understand the influence of anthropogenic stressors on wildlife ecology as well as create spaces where animals and people can thrive
