Isha Iyer graduated from Ahmedabad University, India, with a BA in psychology and a minor in environmental studies. As an undergraduate, she was a research intern at the Global Centre for Environment and Energy, where she assisted a study analyzing the impact of heatwaves on the livelihoods of women construction workers. She also created short investigative films exploring environmental justice and water governance issues in local communities of Ahmedabad.
As a part of Environmental Policy and Management (EPM) at UC Davis, she has interned with the California Department of Conservation, worked in environmental consulting, and is collaborating with the League of California Cities through her policy clinic project. Graduating in spring 2025, Isha is keen to apply her knowledge of behavioral science to inform solutions and policymaking. She is driven by her passion to make meaningful impacts for communities and ecosystems and hopes to work in climate policy, resilience, and sustainable water resources management.
