Bio

Hannah received her B.S. in Biology and Ecology from the University of Georgia in 2022. During freshwater research and her study abroad experiences, her interest in the intersection of science and policy/management decision making grew. She interned in D.C. at NOAA National Marine Sanctuaries prior to moving to California to attend graduate school.

 Hannah graduated from the UC Davis Environmental Policy and Management Program with a water resource management specialization in 2024. She now works at NOAA Fisheries in the Sacramento River Basin Branch as a Natural Resource Management Specialist. Her role involves implementation of section 7 of the Endangered Species Act. This position brings together her interests in conservation, water management, ecology, and policy implementation.
