Eloise Dresser

Eloise graduated from California State Polytechnic University, Humboldt in 2022 with a B.Sc. in Environmental Science and Management, with a focus in ecological restoration. After graduating, Eloise worked as a technician with the United States Forest Service, contributing to multiple research projects focused on forest–meadow restoration and sustainable timber management. While completing her M.Sc. in Environmental Policy and Management at UC Davis, Eloise specialized in environmental data science and watershed management. She completed her practicum with the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CALFIRE), as a geographic information systems intern. For her practicum project, she co-developed three ArcGIS Online dashboards and accompanying maps to support CALFIRE’s efforts to document and visualize fuel treatment effectiveness data. Eloise is passionate about environmental protection and outdoor recreation. She is committed to advancing her career by developing informed and inclusive solutions to environmental challenges.
