Bio
Eloise graduated from California State Polytechnic University, Humboldt in 2022 with a B.Sc. in Environmental Science and Management, with a focus in ecological restoration. While completing her degree, Eloise worked as a restoration technician with the nonprofit Friends of the Dunes, removing invasive plant species from coastal ecosystems, and leading restoration workdays for members of the public. After graduating from Cal Poly Humboldt, Eloise began working with the United States Forest Service as a biological science technician. As a technician, Eloise contributed to ongoing research of forest meadow hydrology in response to process-based restoration. Within these positions, Eloise cultivated skills in data management, geographic information systems, public outreach/education, and team leadership. Eloise is passionate about conservation and wants to apply her scientific background in environmental policy development. She plans on specializing in environmental data science.
