Bio
Claudia Bucheli earned a Bachelor of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology from San Francisco State University in 2017. After graduation, she worked as a researcher in a sorghum tissue culture lab where she aimed to improve monocot transformation techniques. She developed an appreciation for sorghum’s drought tolerant capabilities and subsequently became interested in sustainable crops and water resources management. Her academic interests relate to the adoption of crops that are less susceptible to climate change and multilateral water resource policy.
