Bio

Annika Ragsdale (she/her) graduated from Cal Poly Humboldt in 2015 with a degree in Environmental Science with a focus on Energy and Climate. After graduation, she spent a year serving with the AmeriCorps CivicSpark program where she developed a climate change vulnerability assessment for the California High-Speed Rail system. After completion of her service, Annika was hired to WSP to contribute to its sustainability, climate, and environmental projects. She worked in WSP USA’s national Climate, Resilience, and Sustainability business line for over seven years, helping public sector clients understand and address climate risks. As a UC Davis grad student in the Environmental Policy and Management (EPM) program she is growing her technical skills, exploring the many diverse topics that fall under environmental management, and improving her understanding of how policy can drive effective decision-making, especially as it relates to mitigating and adapting to climate change.
