Dr. Keith Taylor is a Research Professor and Specialist in the University of California's Cooperative Extension. Taylor's economic development work primarily focuses on the design and implementation of energy services cooperatives, with a particular focus on how local communities can leverage the institutional structure of cooperative organizations to create local jobs, retain local capital resources, and increase investment in renewable energy infrastructure. Taylor is a nationally recognized leader in energy service cooperative development and has worked widely with energy utilities nationally. His visit to the EPM professional development seminar lent a unique perspective to EPM students on the opportunities available for environmental professionals in the energy services sector.
