The Environmental Policy Symposium will feature 20-minute lightening talks about topics such as marine protected areas, lithium mining, ecological restoration, climate-smart farming, general plan updates and current environmental legislation in California.
The talks are based on research the Environmental Policy and Management masters students have been working on for the Environmental Policy Clinic, led by Professor Abre’ Conner.
As part of these projects, students have been working with industry partners including: California Coastal Commission, Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife, Governor’s Office of Land Use and Climate Innovation, Delta Stewardship Council, SEI-US and League of California Cities.
