The EPM Social Committee hosted its annual spring celebration, Legacy Night. This year’s theme was inspired by coastal California, with the ever-changing but persevering ocean reflecting the strengths of our very own students!
The Graduate Program of Environmental Policy and Management (EPM) with sponsorship from the UC Davis Institute of the Environment hosted the third-annual Environmental Employer Showcase and Networking Evening (formerly known as the Environmental Internship and Job Fair). This event brought together 20 diverse organizations located in the Sacramento and Bay Areas and over 200 students from more than 20 undergraduate and graduate programs across campus.
It is officially recruitment season! Each year, the Graduate Program of Environmental Policy and Management (EPM) hosts an Admitted Student Open House, welcoming prospective students from across the country to campus to learn why they should choose UC Davis.
When the Graduate Program of Environmental Policy and Management launched EPM Connect in 2022, the vision was simple: create meaningful mentorship connections between current students and experienced environmental professionals. What started as a pilot program pairing students with members of the program's External Advisory Committee has blossomed into a comprehensive initiative that's becoming an vital part of the EPM student experience.

The new name reflects a broader purpose of bringing together EPM students, faculty, alumni and friends to celebrate both accomplishments and the enduring legacy of the program.
Each year, the Environmental Policy and Management (EPM) program at UC Davis welcomes prospective students to campus to showcase the program and campus. The Open House traditionally begins with an excursion to Sacramento, highlighting the strategic advantage of Davis's proximity to California's Capitol and the opportunities for students to get involved in cutting-edge environmental work.
The Graduate Program of Environmental Policy and Management with sponsorship by the UC Davis Institute of the Environment hosted the second-annual Environmental Internship and Job Fair. This event marked a significant milestone in connecting students with potential employers. The event brought together 21 diverse organizations and attracted more than 250 attendees, a substantial increase from 150 participants in the previous year.

The end of September brings a sweeping sense of excitement as staff and faculty prepare to welcome students back to campus. New students prepare to start the next step in their environmental careers: graduate school.
