Applying to the EPM program this admissions cycle? This blog post is for you.
Quick Summary
- Applying for graduate school can be intimidating. The EPM program provides numerous resources to help you craft the best application package possible.
Recruitment season begins
Last weekend, Graduate Program of Environmental Policy and Management Executive Director, Jessica Penrose, traveled to UC Riverside to attend the California Forum for Diversity in Higher Education Graduate School Fair. This event brings together approximately 1,000 pre-selected students, high-achieving undergraduate and master's students enrolled at colleges and universities within California (California Diversity Forum, 2022). Students have the opportunity to explore graduate opportunities and resources by participating in numerous workshops throughout the day. The Graduate School Fair featured hundreds of colleges and universities from around the country. This event kicked off this year's recruitment and admissions season!
The program participates in a number of recruitment events, including Envision UC Davis, which is a program that enables California's most promising prospective graduate students to visit UC Davis to learn about graduate programs, funding and research. Envision participants are able to meet with staff, students and faculty of the program(s) they are interested in. If you're a California resident who hopes to attend graduate school in fall 2026, consider applying to the Envision program. Accommodations, most meals, and transportation subsidies are provided for all accepted applicants. Participants of this program are granted an application fee waiver if they decide to apply for admission to a UC Davis graduate program.
