Assistant and/or Associate Planner

The Position 
We are currently seeking Assistant and Associate-level planners to work out of both our northern California 
(El Dorado Hills) and our southern California (Tustin) offices. Our current priority is in northern California. 
This is a full-time, primarily in-person position. We are seeking planners to assist with a wide range of 
project types, including but not limited to: General Plans, Specific Plans, Zoning Codes, Housing Elements, 
and all types of CEQA projects. 

Assistant Planners must have an educational background in city planning, or a closely related field, such as 
environmental studies. Associate Planners must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the planning 
field, including experience working for a private consulting firm. 

Assignments and responsibilities will be based on experience, skill sets, the interests of the employee, and 
the current project portfolio of the firm. We strive to develop the skillsets and responsibilities of all of our

Benefits 
The Assistant Planner salary range is approximately $55k-$70k and the Associate Planner salary range is 
approximately $70k-$80k. Salaries are dependent on qualifications and experience. We offer a generous
