Nicole graduated from the University of Colorado, Denver in 2022 with a BS in Biology. After graduation, she spent a summer at Rocky Mountain National Park as a Research Assistant with the Tomback Forest Ecology lab where she collected spectral reflectivity data from various vegetation types with the goal to classify satellite imagery. Afterwards, she moved on to working in an analytical lab where she tested for inorganic parameters in water for city-wide programs such as Denver’s Lead Reduction Program. Nicole is deeply passionate about protecting our water resources and learning how to plan and develop policies that address environmental justice issues. She is excited to serve as the Community Relations Manager for the EPM Social Committee and hopes to create a safe, inclusive space for all students.
