Erin Rodriguez graduated from Sacramento State with a B.A. in Government in 2014. Since graduating she has worked as a legislative aide in the California State Capitol for various Assemblymembers. There she developed an interest in waste reduction management and regulatory processes which led her to work at CalEPA, CalRecycle as a legislative analyst. Currently, she is a California legislative advocate for Union of Concerned Scientists where she manages state legislative priorities. Erin is interested in improving her scientific and technical expertise in order to make her a better advocate to solve some of our planet’s most pressing problems related to climate change, transportation and energy policy.
