Bio
Cole graduated from Duke University with a degree in neuroscience before moving to rural Alaska to work in public health. Living on the Bering Strait opened his eyes to a number of realities relating to the climate and humanity's relationship to the planet, which eventually drew him to environmental work and UCDavis. Cole's greatest interests lie at the intersection of ecosystem health, climate health, and human health, and he plans to engage with this nexus in regenerative systems work, especially regenerative agriculture. Outside of work, Cole can be found mountain biking, bouldering, hunting, or playing board games.
