Christina Harrington specialized in Sustainable Agriculture. She grew up in Altadena in Los Angeles County and received her B.A. in Environmental Studies from Seattle University. Before starting graduate school, she worked designing and installing water-saving irrigation systems, organizing and managing community engagement programs for a Los Angeles public agency, and volunteering with the Sierra Club. Christina completed a practicum with UC Agriculture and Natural Resources, organizing budget advocacy meetings with state legislators and researching CA state policies that impact small-scale and BIPOC food producers. She and Cole Jenson, another EPM graduate, co-created and co-facilitated a graduate seminar about the U.S. Farm Bill. She interned at the UC Davis Student Farm, volunteered as the Treasurer of the EPM Diversity Committee, and served on the student board for the UC Davis Green Initiative Fund. Christina now serves on the City of Davis Open Space and Habitat Commission (2024 - 2027).
