Job Description: Do you love nature and working with kids? Well, I have an internship for you! Sacramento Splash is hiring multiple paid interns to work over the course of the Spring Semester for our programming, administrative, and fundraising teams. As an intern you would help the field guides keep the students together out in the vernal pool grassland and focused in the Splash center, while they learn about macroinvertebrates, native wildlife and more. Field trips are Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri 8:45-12:45. The internship will also get you involved in some of our other programs and the behind-the-scenes work that is necessary to run a non-profit. This may include times when you can directly shadow our Development team, Operations team, and CEO to fully understand the nuts and bolts of running a nonprofit organization. This is a great opportunity for college students or fresh graduates who are passionate about nature and interested in pursuing a career in the nonprofit, ecology, biology, hydrology, or education fields.
