Our department is looking for an instructor for ESP 1: Environmental Analysis this summer, in summer session 1, 2024. This class has two co-instructors, one covering natural science content and one covering social science content. The natural science co-instructor position has been filled, but we are searching for the social science co-instructor position.
Faculty, please help spread the word to qualified candidates in your labs. Graduate students and postdocs, please consider applying. This position is especially helpful to those considering careers at teaching focused-institutions. Note that we encourage graduate students and postdocs to talk over these positions with their advisors before applying to make sure they will have availability.
The course will have TA support based on enrollment. The selected instructors will be provided with course materials from previous offerings and guidance and support from faculty who have previously taught the course.
Ideal applicants will have TA experience in related courses.
Applicants should send an email to <[email protected]> and <[email protected]> with a copy of their CV and a brief letter of interest that includes:
