Tselot was born in Ethiopia and moved to the US at the age of eight. She completed her Bachelors at UC Santa Cruz in Environmental Studies. Since graduating, Tselot has worked with various divisions at the California Department of Food & Agriculture. She plans to specialize in sustainable agriculture with a focus on international agriculture development and policy. In her free time, Tselot enjoys gardening, biking, practicing yoga, traveling, and making honey wine with her best friend.
