Shivam Gandhi

Shivam holds a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from CSU Stanislaus and a Master of Science in Chemistry from Virginia Tech. Currently pursuing a specialization in Climate Change Science and Policy through the Environmental Policy and Management (EPM) program, he has a strong foundation in scientific research and practical applications. At Virginia Tech, Shivam conducted research on carbon capture technologies in Dr. Louis Madsen’s lab, igniting his passion for improving air quality and researching sustainable solutions. With a deep commitment to tackling climate change, Shivam is eager to contribute to projects that improve air quality in Northern and Central California. He seeks to leverage his expertise in chemistry and environmental policy to drive impactful change at the intersection of science and public policy. In addition to his academic and professional pursuits, Shivam enjoys outdoor activities and values spending time with friends and family, reflecting his dedication to both environmental sustainability and community well-being.
