- Environmental Policy & Management
After earning his B.A. in Environmental Studies from Knox College in 2017, Sean worked for 7 years in the startup and non-profit sectors, specializing in movement building, cause-marketing, and tech-driven advocacy. Now completing a M.S. Environmental Policy and Management at UC Davis, Sean has deepened his expertise in greenhouse gas emissions accounting, climate policy, and geospatial analysis. He serves as the UC Davis Greenhouse Gas Inventory Analyst and has conducted research on topics including wildfire resilience, natural climate solutions, and the socio-environmental impacts of lithium mining in the Americas. His graduate work has focused on translating environmental data into actionable policy and market-based solutions, with particular attention to decarbonization, equity, and sustainable development. Sean is now looking to bring this systems-level thinking and technical toolkit to roles in public sector climate strategy, sustainability-focused innovation, or ESG consulting. He is especially drawn to cross-sector work that aligns environmental outcomes with economic and social co-benefits.
