Nick Carter

Nick is a second year graduate student originally from Charleston, South Carolina. He completed his undergraduate education at UC Davis, receiving a BS in Evolution, Ecology, and Biodiversity with a minor in Environmental Policy Analysis and Planning. As someone who grew up appreciating our world's oceans, he is planning on specializing in marine resource conservation and management. Nick is currently intern with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife in Bodega Bay, assisting with marine invertebrate fishery research and management. He's interested in pursuing a career that integrates marine research with policy creation and implementation. For fun, Nick enjoys hiking, camping, spending time with animals and generally being outside.
