Michael Macon

Michael graduated from Coastal Carolina University in 2012 where he double majored in Marine Science and Applied Mathematics. He is interested in protecting fisheries and has worked on salmonid monitoring the past 5 years in California. Michael currently works at the California State Water Board in the Division of Water Rights where he monitors compliance with water regulations on the Sacramento River and the Bay Delta. He is pursuing a Masters in Environmental Policy and Management to be more affective at adopting and implementing management decisions to protect important fisheries from stressors of climate change.
