Mark Chechenin

Mark graduated from UC Berkeley with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Economics and Policy. While completing his degree at Berkeley, he conducted research that focused on analyzing the effects of paying smallholder farmers in Odisha, India to increase carbon sequestration by changing their agricultural practices. In his spare time, Mark likes to research economic inequality, and how environmental justice initiatives affect marginalized communities. In the Environmental Policy and Management (EPM) program at UC Davis, Mark's goal is to focus on pursuing a specialization in Climate Change Science and Policy.
