Marisa Rodriguez

Marisa Rodriguez is an environmental and public policy advocate with a strong commitment to sustainable development. She graduated from UC San Diego in 2023 with a degree in Environmental Policy and minored in Urban Planning and Economics. Shortly after, she joined Rincon Consultants as a community planner, where she worked with jurisdictions across California to support their housing, transportation, conservation, and land use goals. Her work focused on CEQA compliance, long-range and current planning, and meaningful community engagement. Building on her planning experience, Marisa is excited to learn from experienced UC Davis faculty and deepen her understanding of how effective policy and funding for land and resource management can drive environmentally responsible solutions to the challenges California faces.
