Bio
Lucia finished her undergraduate studies at Indiana University Southeast in 2021, receiving her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sustainability and Regeneration with minors in biology and microbiology. Throughout her life, Lucia has faced many barriers as a Latina in a lower-income household, and seeks to assist in lowering any barrier she can for those who come after her. She has worked in a variety of fields, but most recently left her job with Louisville Metro in Louisville, Kentucky, as a Planner to pursue a Master's degree in Environmental Policy and Management from UC Davis. Lucia aims to broaden her understanding of environmental policy and management and gain more experience in related areas so that she may further her efforts to one day work for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
