Prior to EPM, Liam graduated from the University of California, San Diego in 2019 with a BS in Cell Biology and Biochemistry and a BA in International Political Studies. At EPM, Liam specialized in Energy and Transportation Planning and Quantitative Analysis. For his practicum, Liam worked with the Environmental Council of Sacramento (ECOS) to visualize the potential for targeted, impactful investments in open space, public transportation, and affordable housing. He also interned within Government Affairs at the Sacramento Municipal Utility District, helping SMUD leverage federal funding to renovate Sacramento's electric grid. After graduating EPM, he started as a fellow in the U.S. Department of Energy's Energy Innovator Fellowship program, where he works to advance renewable energy and climate resilience projects with the Tule River Indian Tribe of California. Liam remains committed to studying and working in the field of energy governance.
