Kiri Basher

Kiri graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2024 with a BA in Geography: Environment and Sustainability and a certificate in Climate Studies and Action. Her academic and research work focused on the intersection of climate change and social equity, including projects on pastoral livelihoods in Kenya, forest landscape restoration, and climate action in labor unions. Kiri is passionate about science communication and plans to specialize in environmental data science.
