Katie Michel

Katie currently works in climate ed tech in comms and outreach and has a background in conservation analysis and permaculture research. She graduated cum laude with Phi Beta Kappa honors from UC Irvine and majored in environmental science and minored in urban studies. Katie's career/educational passion center around sustainable agriculture, natural/ecological solutions in climate mitigations, California native plant ecology, and California coastal ecosystem conservation. She is interested in specializing in Food Systems & Sustainable Agriculture or Climate Change Science & Policy. In her free time she hikes, plays upright bass, and bakes sourdough bread.
