Bio
Grace Curtis earned her bachelor's degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a major in journalism and minors in English and environmental studies. After working in agricultural communications and writing for her local newspaper as an environmental reporter, Grace's passion for sustainability and protecting the environment led her to a career in environmental policy. She served as an Executive Fellow in Sac State's Capital Fellows Program and worked on several climate policy implementation initiatives for the California Governor's Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz), including zero emission vehicle market development analysis and interagency coordination to secure federal climate funding for California. Since her fellowship, Grace has continued working at GO-Biz as an Energy Analyst focusing on addressing barriers to the deployment of clean and renewable energy projects in support of the state's goal to achieve a carbon neutral economy by 2045. Grace looks forward to deepening her technical expertise in environmental policy and management and using these skills to build a healthier, cleaner environment for her community and for future generations.
