Faith Sunga

Faith is a recent graduate of the University of California, Irvine, where she earned a B.A. in Environmental Science & Policy, with a minor in Global Sustainability and a certificate as an Environmental Changemaker. A defining experience in her development as an environmental steward was her participation in the Green Captain Internship Program, where she collaborated with the UCI Dining Sustainability Coordinator to promote sustainable practices on campus. Her senior capstone research, "Environmental Injustice Implications of Brazilian Amazon Deforestation on Indigenous Communities," deepened her commitment to addressing the intersection of environmental degradation, public health, and social equity. Faith plans to specialize in both Climate Science & Policy and Environmental Justice during her master's studies and intends to pursue a career in environmental consulting.
