Bio
Emma graduated from Willamette University in 2026 with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and a Minor in Sustainability. In her undergraduate program, she worked extensively in the dendrochronology lab to study the impact forest management practices and environmental policy can have on forest ecosystems. In conjunction with the US Forest Service in Oregon and the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde, Emma has worked on multiple projects in their time as an undergraduate studying fire morphology, vegetation cover, and the transformation of ecosystems in western Oregon. She is originally from the Flathead Valley near Glacier National Park, Montana, and enjoys hiking, fly fishing, and bouldering.
