Emily Connick

Emily was born and raised in Sacramento and later moved to Chico to study environmental science with an emphasis in hydrology at CSU Chico where she graduated in 2025. She is very interested in water resource management and its relations to agriculture. She did research as an undergraduate in groundwater sustainability and atmospheric science. This summer she was a hydrology intern where she got hands on experience in water resource management which she plans to specialize in during her masters. She has a dad and brother that both work for the forest service which has influenced her passion and career choice for environmental science. Her career goals are to work in the water resource field and help manage California's water and make a difference in her community.
