Dewansh Matharoo

In EPM, Dewansh specialized in environmental justice and sustainable food systems to help build resilient, just (for human and non-human beings), and equitable food systems. He has also been an Environmental Justice Fellow, is a Lead Student Farmer, and is a mutual aid organizer in Davis. After finishing his masters, Dewansh will be moving into the Geography program at UC Davis to pursue his PhD. His research interests include culturally relevant food, food systems planning, community ownership, and agroecological transformations.
