Daniel Harper

Originally from the San Fernando Valley, Daniel pursued a B.A. in Environmental Studies and Economics focusing on Geographic Information Systems and Agroecology at UC Santa Cruz. As an intern for CIDER, The Center for Information Technology Research in the Interest of Society, Daniel developed a growing interest in ecosystem mapping, photogrammetry, as well as data collection and analysis using remote sensing. He has a passion for sustainable food systems and making it so that everyone has access to equitable and sustainable food regardless of socioeconomic status. In his free time, Daniel enjoys being outdoors, learning new recipes, and listening to music with friends.
