Bio

Clarissa earned her bachelor’s degree in Horticulture from Purdue University before completing a Graduate in Certificate in Curriculum & Instruction. Prior to joining the Environmental Policy & Management program, she spent three years as a high school agricultural educator, teaching dual-credit courses in plant and soil sciences while managing the school’s greenhouse and gardens. Outside of the classroom, Clarissa has worked as an environmental educator in Alaska and as a manager in the floriculture industry. She plans to specialize in Environmental Data Science, combining her background in agriculture with her interests in addressing environmental challenges.
