Christian Fuentes Macias

Originating from the Central Valley, Christian received his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from CSU Stanislaus in 2020. He went on to work for the Campfire Hazard Tree Removal Program, quality assurance food laboratories, and most recently California State Parks. It was at his job at the Campfire Hazard Tree Removal Program in Paradise, CA where he gained valuable experience in environmental Impact assessment, biological monitoring, and consulting. Touched by the personal stories of the citizens who endured one of California’s most devastating natural disasters. He gained an unyielding motivation to help those vulnerable to climate change and its environmental impacts. He is seeking a career in the public sector to create public policy that protects California’s natural resources and the communities around it.
