Bio

Chloe is a lifelong ocean advocate and recent graduate of Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Management and Protection. Prior to joining UC Davis, Chloe contributed to environmental and sustainability initiatives through positions with the City of Vacaville Fire Department and the California Energy Commission. She also worked with the Monterey Bay Aquarium, where she designed and led a webinar exploring the intersection of identity and ocean conservation advocacy. Chloe is a passionate science communicator dedicated to championing stewardship of California’s coastal resources through citizen science projects and outreach initiatives. Her interests center on bridging policy, advocacy, and education, while simultaneously increasing accessibility of science to all. Chloe also loves live music, working at the UC Davis Craft Center, reading, and tide-pooling.
