Bijeta Lamichhane

Bijeta received her Bachelor’s degree in mathematics and communication studies from the College of Wooster. Prior to joining UC Davis, she worked as an environmental markets correspondent at Carbon Pulse, where she extensively covered North American carbon markets and climate policy. She is passionate about addressing the gap between climate science and stakeholder knowledge, and aims to further develop her analytical and communication skills to help inform environmental policy and management efforts. Bijeta also enjoys exploring nature (and finding good hammock spots!), books, and music, running, as well as spending time with friends and family.
