Abbey Gyetvai

Abbey Gyetvai was born and raised in the Sacramento area. She received her B.A. in Environmental Studies and Political Science from the University of Oregon in 2020. Additionally, she has certificates from Google's Project Management Program and their Data Analytics Program. She is interested in environmental consulting, focusing on environmental justice, water, and planning issues. Due to these interests, she pursued specializations in environmental justice and city and regional planning. She has worked with the California Council of Land Trusts, the California Environmental Protection Agency, and the University of Oregon’s Environmental Leadership Program. Recently, she finished working for the Consensus Building Institute as a graduate intern, where she furthered her environmental governance, research, leadership, and negotiation skills by working on complex, multi-interested parties planning and management projects related to water resources, housing, and natural resources.
