Bio
Carlin Coleman, a Sacramento, CA native, graduated from UC Merced in 2020 with a BS in Environmental Engineering. During her time in the Environmental Policy and Management program at UC Davis, she completed her practicum with the Biking While Black project, where she contributed to environmental justice and transportation-related research examining mobility, safety, and equity in Black communities. Through the program, she also expanded her focus from technical environmental work into environmental planning, transportation, and environmental justice. Carlin currently works at Jacobs Engineering. and has transitioned into an Environmental Planner role focused on CEQA/NEPA and environmental planning projects. As a LEED Green Associate, she is passionate about sustainable urban development, equitable transportation systems, and creating community-centered environmental solutions that support a more resilient future.
