Join the California Environmental Monitoring and Assessment Statewide Team (CEMAST); a creative, multidisciplinary group developing and implementing a comprehensive monitoring framework aimed at understanding the potential effects of cannabis cultivation and other ecological drivers on aquatic and terrestrial species. We seek a highly motivated, punctual, detail-oriented, and organized individual, to support our field monitoring and mapping efforts. You will conduct a variety of field work which keeps things interesting (snorkeling, benthic macroinvertebrate collections, hydrologic monitoring), and help to process and manage data, including the digitization of cannabis features from satellite imagery using ARCGIS.
