Under the general direction of the Senior Advisor, Climate and Economy, the CERF Program Manager manages the CERF unit consisting of six professional level analysts. The incumbent works with the Labor and Workforce Development Agency (LWDA), the Employment Development Department (EDD), and the Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz) to develop and implement the CERF program. The incumbent will ensure that the team effectively operationalizes its fast-moving program design, while also ensuring incorporation of a data-driven approach through partnership with a third-party evaluator. The incumbent will provide expertise in economic development, climate, and equity to the interagency team to guide this highly complex initiative that aims to transform economic development in California. The Program Manager is expected to further OPR mission and its statewide impact.
