Senior Environmental Scientist

Duties include responsibility for maintaining, refining, and regularly updating the risk vulnerability tool and associated data compilation as mandated by Senate Bill 552, passed in 2021 (CWC §10609.80(a)(1)). This work includes compiling data from several different sources, quantitative and spatial data analysis with large datasets indicator development and assessment, and user interface design and development. The work will include coordinating with other state agency personnel to align goals and objectives on related resilience and Human Right to Water efforts and receiving input from tool users to provide updates. Preparing reports and presentations on the scoring and tool and assisting with other Rural Community Program project needs.
