This person will help us build a stronger foundation for our existing programs including Asking Different Questions and the Environmental Justice Leaders program. They will expand our capacity into new areas of justice-centered research such as community-centered policy development and assessing equity in the research granting process.This is a great job for a recent PhD or seasoned professional who wants advanced experience in research development, program management, and policy creation. We are looking for someone with the drive to change research culture to be more humanizing and transparently value-centered. This can produce research that is more honest, accurate, and impactful. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the relationship between science, culture, and justice, and be able to apply and teach this knowledge to researchers in a wide array of fields. They will also have experience in communicating research to different audiences.This is a one-year contract staff position, subject to yearly renewal. The position is budgeted for $70,000.
